About the artist:

Brendan E. Riley is a mixed media artist who walks the line between two worlds, trying to successfully drift with the mainstream mentality and flow with the Indigenous perspective. His mixed background of Anishinabe (Ojibwa) and Celtic heritage influences his methods and inspires him to create meaningful and beautiful things. As a classically trained goldsmith/silversmith and tailor, he aspires to honour all his ancestors through the ancient art of adornment, as well as dabbling in a variety of other visual arts. His volunteer work with the Canadian Wildlife Federation and the Canadian Conservation Corps has been recognized through awards and articles.
